Google has joined the product launch party with the Google Pixel 5 & Pixel 4a 5G Improves the camera and comes with new Android Features Plus some other amazing launches!

So Google has just announced its latest flagship phone the Pixel 5 which comes stacked with features and a top-spec camera for £599 from October 15th.  We also found out the Pixel 4a 5G will cost £499 available on the 19th of November in time for Christmas.

 

The two key improvements from these devices are: 

 

New camera feature to both Pixel 4a 5G & Pixel 5 is the ultra-wide lens and it also comes with night sight which is available in portrait mode. This improves your shot by allowing you to position a light after the picture was taken- Crazy Right!

 

Google has also introduced the “Hold for Me” which allows google assistant to listen to the boring music when you’re on hold and then alerts you when someone answers.  Now surely this is a game-changer!

So what about the Handsets?

Google Pixel 5 offers a six-inch HD display. and the screen comes with a 90Hz refresh rate meaning it will just run perfectly when scrolling on the device.

 

Inside the phone, it’s powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor which is a little bit of a surprise and its not really an upgrade. However, it still makes the phone work just great. You are also given 8GB RAM so this phone can handle most things you can do with it.

 

Battery wise its QI Compatible and also comes with reverse wireless charging so if your friend needs a charge no problem. Google Pixel 5 offers a 4,000mAh battery which will last the day for you we promise!

The Google Pixel 4a 5G comes with a 6.2 inch Full HD Screen however it does not come with the 90HZ refresh rate you get with the Pixel 5 5G. It also does share the Snapdragon 765G processor but as this is the less expensive device you get 6GB RAM instead.

 

Battery wise it comes in at 3885mAh but it will still last you the day but you won’t be able to charge this device wireless or allow for reverse charging. The body is made of metal which you expect for a more budget range device. It also comes with a 3.5mm headphone jack.
