We are currently in very strange times with the COVID-19 outbreak taking over most of 2020 and making face masks a vital accessory for everyday life. We were recently sent two face masks by AirPop. In this review, we will be looking at the AirPop Light SE & AirPop Pocket Mask.

AirPop has created a line of defence against the dangerous particles and droplets that are part of COVID-19. These masks are designed to offer the same highly-effective two-way barrier as the masks you might see in your local hospital worn by the front line. AirPop gives you that same technology but for the general public. As well as being comfortable for all-day use.

How does it keep you safe?

The AirPop masks use a filter area to help increase filtration capacity. The surface area is 1.5 times that of the normal blue medical masks we see lots of people using.  The AirPop masks offer 5 high-efficiency filter layers used to keep you safe. These masks provide 99.3% bacterial filtration plus fluid resistance.

The AirPop Light SE

AirPop Light SE Review

We all want to stay safe in this current pandemic and the Airpop Light SE does just that. This mask is not just designed for the prevention of COVID-19. It also can be used for anti-dust and anti-Pollen allergy and to reduce vehicle exhaust air being taken into our body via breathing.

The AirPop Light SE creates that super-light feel that after a long period of time you will not even notice it on your face, The Light SE is designed using a 3D domed Structure that enables you to breathe with ease. This mask comes with ergonomic wings, for that secure fit.

Airpop has also considered comfort by adding a cushioned Ergo-Flex Seal around the nose. The mask also comes with quick Pinch adjust via soft-touch EVA beads meaning this mask will fit all. The mask is made from a 2 layer spun bound poly nonwoven and will offer up to 40 hours of use.

Cost: The AirPop Light SE costs £9.95 or £29.99 for a 4 pack. They are available from the AirPop website and come in either black or white.

AirPop Pocket Mask

The AirPop Pocket mask like the Light SE is also lightweight but also comes with a compatible carry case which is ideal for when the mask is not in use as it will keep it clean.

The main difference between the Light SE & the Pocket mask. Is the pocket ergo-foam seal conforms to the nose bridge and its top vent allows for moisture to evaporate between wears. I found it very helpful if you happen to wear glasses you did not steam up as much.

Like the Light SE, the pocket is also made from dual-layer electrostatic nonwoven filters which provide that extra protection against ultrafine pollutants. You will also notice both masks allow for a universal fit and also provide up to 40 hours use before you need to replace the mask.

Airpop Pocket Mask Review

The AirPop Pocket mask comes in a pack of 2 and is available in black or white. They cost £14.99 for a 2 pack or £24.99 for a 4 pack. The carry case is also available for £9.99.
