If your someone who on the lookout for a new case mobile accessory brand Speck recently sent us some of the range available for the Apple iPhone 12 range. We got sent the following: 

  • Speck Presidio -Perfect Clear with Grips
  • Speck Presidio Perfect – Mist
  • Speck Presidio Armor Cloud 

Now Speck offers excellent protection and the price is not too expensive either all the range offers impressive drop protection and in this covid world, we are currently living in, offering microban protection which limits the build-up of bacteria on your phone. 

 

What I did notice with all three cases they offer a very tight fit and this could be done to make sure the phone stays safe in the case. However, be warned it can be quite troublesome to remove the case.

 

Let’s take a closer look at the cases: 

The Speck Presidio 2 Armor Cloud – Costs £ 28.25 via Amazon

This case will offer you maximum protection due to armor cloud technology that uses air capsules along the perimeter of the case to resist damage on impact. The case also offers a larger lip to also protect the phone on impact. 

This case comes with a raised camera bump and comes with see-through ridges that offer a nice design to the case.

The buttons are nice and tactile to us due to the fact the buttons are a different material to the rest of the case allowing pressing the buttons with ease.

This case is also Qi Compatible and will work with Apple Magsafe so an easy charging experience. If you wanted to use the old fashion way and use a lighting cable the charging port has plenty of room in this case. Finally, this case comes with a 16ft/4.4m drop proofing so if you’re looking for a case to offer maximum protection this has to be the case for you.

The Speck Presidio Perfect -Mist –  Costs £23.90 via Amazon

Just like the Presidio 2 Armor Cloud the perfect Mist case offers that antimicrobial protection meaning it will limit the amount of bacteria buildup on your device. What makes the case different it offers a soft matt finish with a semi-transparent back which allows that Apple logo to slip into view. This case like the Presidio perfect clear case offers that clear guarantee meaning if this case was too yellow they would replace it free of charge. 

 

Just like all the cases in the range, it offers that raised bezel which offers that extra level of protection and the camera cut out also offers a nice level of protection. The key difference to the Armor Cloud is the drop protection this case will offer 13ft/4M protection which is a little less but still a very good case. 

This case is also Qi Compatible and allows for the Use of Apple which is great when it comes to charging your phone. 

 

The Speck Presidio Perfect Clear with Grips – Cost £ 31.98 via Amazon

This case is the most noticeable difference from the other two cases we got sent. It offers ridged design and offers a level of security when in your hand due to the grip lines on the back of the case this will help it not slip out of your hands.

The case also offers 13ft/4m drop protection and like the other two cases offer Microban protection which helps stop bacteria build up. If you want a case that offers protection but also allows you to show off your iPhone in my case I want people to see I have the pacific blue iPhone 12. This case is clear which allows you to do so. 

 

Now this case was very difficult to put on the phone and even harder to remove so be warned. The case offers all the protection you come to expect like the raised bezel and the decent camera cut out area and the cut out for the lightning port was all done very well.  

This case is also Qi-compatible so wireless charging can be done with ease but where this case falls down in my view is the fact you’re unable to use Apple Magsafe to charge the phone as it won’t stick to the case. I also found the material of the case also made the buttons a little stiff meaning you really have to press them for anything to happen which might please some users. 

The Presidio Perfect clear does use an innovative crystal clear coating guaranteed to resist discolouration over time when using the case.
