• Tariff on Vodafone’s VOXI brand, gives unlimited 5G data, calls and texts for just £10 a month to anyone who has lost their job as a result of the pandemic. The plan would usually cost £35 per month.
  • The plan will now be available for an extra six months, to help reduce monthly outgoings for those who are most financially vulnerable.
  • Those already on the plan will have it automatically extended until 31st October 2021.

Vodafone has today extended its ‘VOXI For Now’ tariff that helps people who have become unemployed as a result of the coronavirus pandemic stay connected. The plan gives people unlimited mobile data, minutes and texts for just £10 a month, for up to six months, with no fuss, no need for a credit check, and no contract to sign.

With unemployment at its highest figure for five years and 1.7 million people in the UK unemployed (ONS 2021), the plan is designed to help reduce monthly outgoings for those who are most financially vulnerable. The plan, which is available on Vodafone’s VOXI brand, will be available to anyone (not just the under 25s) currently claiming Jobseeker’s Allowance, Employment and Support Allowance or employment based Universal Credit until 31st September*. Those currently on the tariff will have their plan extended, automatically until 31st October.

Customers on the unlimited plan will enjoy the same great benefits that come with being a VOXI customer, including Vodafone’s leading network and 5G, so there is no need to compromise on staying connected even if someone’s job situation is uncertain. The plan gives customers a 70% discount, as it would usually cost £35 a month.
