MOUS ARE BACK WITH THEIR RISKIEST EVER IPHONE LAUNCH STUNT…

Mous, a tech accessory brand known for its extremely protective cases and even more extreme stunts, is back at it again to celebrate the launch of the iPhone 14. Normally they drop phones from huge heights, this year they’ve dropped their CEO. He’s drop-tested an iPhone 14, in a Mous case, from 60ft while plunging off a bungee jump at Bray Lake.

Just thinking about that height is enough to give most people vertigo, but as CEO and co-founder James Griffith said live on the scene, “I’m not sure what’s scarier – jumping from that high or throwing a brand new iPhone 14!”

Doing both at once was quite a challenge. After plummeting off the bungee jump at breakneck speed, James needed to throw the phone, in its Mous Limitless 5.0 case, onto a gravel-encrusted unpaved road to his left – and not into the deep lake directly below. This was an extreme test of both the case’s protection and James’s aim. This might have been Mous’s riskiest stunt so far.

But once again, Mous pulled it off. James’s aim didn’t fail and neither did Mous’s phone protection. The team on the ground rushed to remove the case – the phone was unscathed.

The Mous team is used to doing some pretty extreme drop-tests – they’ve dropped iPhones from 45ft cranes, from hot air balloons and from a 100mph zipline. James says, “we make some very big claims about how protective our products are, so we’ve got to back them up in a big way. I reckon we’ve proved it with this 60ft drop-test. If a phone can survive that, you can trust your Mous case to handle your day-to-day drops.”

Limitless 5.0 is Mous’s latest iteration of their flagship range. Containing MagSafe® compatible technology, constructed with Mous’s patent-pending AiroShock protective material, and available in a range of unique, stylish backplates, Limitless 5.0 is a phone case that doesn’t compromise. It provides magnetic connection, epic protection and aesthetic perfection, all in an incredibly slim frame.

Mous has been making seriously protective, magnetically optimised cases for years with their groundbreaking AutoAlign and AutoAlign+ technology and they were one of the first tech brands to respond to Apple’s MagSafe when Apple launched the iPhone 12. Limitless 5.0 contains the same innovative MagSafe compatible technology as their initial MagSafe compatible offering. New developments from Limitless 4.0 to 5.0 include interlocking TPU construction, so the case can last even longer, and grip ribs on the sides to stop you from dropping it in the first place. Though if you do, as this stunt proved, you shouldn’t have any problems.

James added, “we founded Mous because we could see how tech transformed our lives, and we wanted tech accessories that could enhance that tech even further every time we used it. We realised you should be able to expect more from the devices you use every day.”

No matter what your everyday life looks like – whether that’s weekend bungee jumping or mid-week bus hopping – you can trust that Mous’s extreme protection will have you covered. Mous products elevate the experiences you have with your everyday tech, every day.
