Swedish speaker manufacturer Audio Pro has partnered with British audio giant Blackstar Amplification to introduce a special edition of its critically acclaimed Drumfire speaker.

Audio Pro boasts an enviable reputation in the field of consumer audio, while Blackstar is renowned for innovation in sound design; creating products that are the ultimate tools for self-expression. In fact, its amplifiers have been used by some of the world’s biggest artists, including Phil Collen (Def Leppard) and Steve Cradock (Paul Weller, Ocean Colour Scene). Now, with the specially voiced Drumfire Blackstar Edition, that same sound experience will be brought into the home.

The Drumfire is already known for being immensely powerful, with a capacity that far exceeds the footprint of the speaker. Originally launched back in 2018, the speaker has received critical acclaim in the form of multiple flawless five-star ratings.

The speaker is kitted out with 300Ws of power, a 2×4” long-throw woofer on top and 8” long-throw on the bottom, plus multiroom, Bluetooth and Spotify Connect capabilities, resulting in next-level sound.

Ian Robinson, Blackstar Founder and Managing Director, explains; “When you go to see a live band there’s an anticipation of the experience, the excitement of live sound. We wanted to have a speaker for the home that would create the same expectation and enjoyment. The Drumfire Blackstar Edition is a statement that you’re serious about music.” Paul Hayhoe, Blackstar Founder and Brand Director, adds; “At Blackstar we are all passionate about creating and listening to music, getting ‘the sound in your head’. Nothing else looks like Drumfire and nothing else has the room-filling power and clarity of a Drumfire.”

The Drumfire – Blackstar Edition will be available to purchase via Audio Pro’s online store from November 10th. It costs 7000 Swedish Krona (approx. 600 GBP).
