One of the most important trends in human civilization’s development is digitalization. It creates a more inclusive society, and better management, provides greater access to healthcare, education, and banking, expands the ways people work together, and allows for a wider range of products at lower prices. Digital technology is essential for economic development and well-being. The Covid-19 epidemic has shown this. The real boom of digital entertainment and businesses was what we saw.

Digital technologies are used today in business processes. Their widespread adoption is evident in every sphere of life since they have been in every sphere of life.

  • Capital expenditures for business start-ups can be reduced by combining cost-competitive and expense-driven cost savings.
  • Their use lowers costs increases productivity and improves decision-making efficiency;
  • Because they are cost-free, the services become more affordable and therefore less expensive. Users pay only a fraction of the charges incurred by the digital economy.

These can be used to make unique products that are fully customized to the client’s requirements.

Digital technologies enable you to conduct business anywhere in the world, conduct video conferences, and purchase products and other household goods via the Internet. Digitalization can help solve social problems by increasing access to vital healthcare services (electronic healthcare system), education (distance learning or looking for SAM Cengage answers), and providing financial services. It also simplifies and streamlines government activities (electronic governance): the creation of electronic regulations, registrations, and other administrative functions.

Information technology is increasingly popular in our daily lives. Our smartphones have made it possible to order food, taxis and household goods as well as water. Information technology has enabled entire factories to operate, helicopters to fly, and buildings are being built.

Education has not been left behind by digitalization. Multimedia preschools, tablet and computer classes have had a profound impact on education.

You have to see it more deeply.

Teachers have the opportunity to make the most of technology in education, while students acquire the skills and capabilities that are needed for today’s advanced world.

It is not possible. Computer technology is vital. Many states have programs in place to buy computer equipment for schools. But this approach has two major problems. A learning platform is an online education system that allows users to learn via tutorials or courses.

The first is stagnation in the park. Technology changes very rapidly. A recently renovated computer class could be considered stagnant within a year.

Another is that today’s Generation Z does not suffice to acquire knowledge. Students need to be taught why they need it, what it can do and how it will benefit them in the future.

Education’s main challenge is to get the younger generation interested in learning.

Ruben Poitendura, a Harvard University professor, spoke about the use of information technology and its effect on education.

He introduced four steps:

  • Substitution
  • Augmentation
  • Modification
  • Redefinition.

Let me give you an example to illustrate what I mean.

Let’s suppose that the task of teaching involves practical work to determine the temperature in the air.

A thermometer using a traditional approach would suffice. Even this simple task can be solved with information devices.

Substitution is the first level. It allows students to measure temperature with an electronic thermometer instead of a traditional thermometer.

The second level (Augmentation), is the ability to solve the same problem using a digital laboratory. This includes a calibrated temperature sensor and built-in software.

Modification is the third step. This involves solving this problem with a non-calibrated temperature sensor. This approach requires students to first understand its principles, then create an electronic thermometer (electronic thermometer), calibrate and program the machine and measure the temperature.

The fourth and final level, or Definition, can be the development and creation of an industrial design for the temperature measuring device. This may be different for different age groups. At the end of this practical work, the children will have to analyze and propose the scope of their device and argue their case.

You can see that even a mundane laboratory job can be transformed into a real quest by the effective use of information technology. Children are able to understand the principles behind the intelligent devices they use every day.

Furthermore, educational programs allow you to implement such a practice-oriented approach while still meeting the higher state academic standards.

This approach is STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts and Mathematics) education.

Today’s labour training programs offer students the opportunity to create challenging learning assignments such as building weather stations or “smart buildings” projects.

The STEAM approach to teaching is fundamentally different and inspires young learners.

Despite the desire of teachers, STEAM cannot be achieved without specially-equipped laboratories.

It is important not to misunderstand them in this context. It is important to equip schools with projectors, multimedia playpens, and other technology, but it must not be an end in itself.

STEAM laboratories enable you to create complex technological designs that can be used for modelling intelligent buildings, greenhouses, automated weather stations, and other types of structures.

This list is by no means complete. I created it to show how the STEAM equipment is different from the multimedia boards.

It is also essential to have teaching materials for technology education, including 3D modelling, 3D graphics, construction, drilling, holographic educational videos, electronics, robotics, and milling.

STEAM education is still a new concept. This is why many people are not aware of the importance of such changes.

Many teachers are willing and eager to help children learn about modern technology. They still need the support and advice of specialists in the appropriate fields.
