With new phones like the iPhone 12 and most recently the Samsung S21 range you need a powerbank that can offer fast charging and something that can give you that quick charge option. Xtorm is a brand who specialise in charge products and we have covered before with the Fuel Series 3 and the Xtorm Rugged charger.
In the review, we had the chance to review the Xtorm 20W Fuel Series Power Bank 10,000mAh. This powerbank offers 20W fast charging and has a 10,000mAh battery.
This powerbank comes with a geometric design with a soft matt touch finish. On the front of the powerbank, you have an orange power button with LED strip indicator that when full is light up all the way and this indicates the battery is charged to 100%.
This charger comes with 3 ports – 2x USB QC 3.0 ports & 1x USB-C 20W port.
The charger as mentioned has a very cool design and is not very large it fits into your coat pocket with ease (136x71x15mm) and is quite lightweight (215g). The battery has a 10,000 mAh capacity and the battery is made of Li-Polymer.
This charger allows you to use all 3 ports at once so allowing you to charge multiple devices at once. The battery capacity allows you to charge 4x mobile phones to 100% or charging your tablet to 100% just once. The USB-C 20W port allowed me to charge my iPhone 12 from 0% to 60% in 30 minutes due to the fast charging capacity. This is 3x faster than a normal charger and the fact you can use the USB-C to Lightning cable that is now the norm with new devices.
This charger also allows you to use this charger on an aeroplane but as we are in lockdown for what feels like forever. You might have guessed we were unable to test in the sky on way to holiday I so desperately want.
However, on everyday use, the charger works really well and the fact I can charge my phone & two wearables at the same time really makes this power bank a very useful bit of kit especially when we can do the daily commute in the future. At €34.95 via the Xtrom website, this powerbank is a great option for those who need power fast on the go.
